Konrad Gobel

Konrad Gobel (* ~ 1498 in Frankfurt am Main; † after 1557) was a German bell-founder and gunsmith.

The son of Niklas Gobel, Kannengießer and GunMaster from Dinkelsbühl, was born about 1498. From the 16th century flourished arts and trades in Frankfurt am Main, Gobel was 1528 citizens while GunMaster the city.

Bells

From his workshop came two bells of 1544 and 1545 in the Church of St. Stephan in Mainz and a bell of 1557 in the parish church of St. Lawrence to Ebersheim in Rheinhessen, which are characterized in front of other bells that casts of medals and cut stones, also ancient coins are mounted on them.

Metal casting
