Konrad von Jungingen

Konrad von Jungingen (c. 1355/1360 presumably at Hohenfels, district of Konstanz, . † March 30, 1407 in Malbork ) was from 1393 to 1407 the 25th Grand Master of the Teutonic Order. He came from the Swabian low nobility and was the brother of Ulrich von Jungingen, who was elected by Konrad 26th Grand Master of the Teutonic Order.

Life

Konrad was probably around 1380 to Prussia. There he joined from 1387 as Hauskomtur of Osterode first appearance. In 1390 he was elected Grand Master Tressler and the Order Chapter on November 30, 1393.

Under the leadership of Konrad defeated the German Order of 1398 wintering on the island of Gotland Likedeeler.
