Konstantin Vaginov
Konstantin Konstantinovich Waginow (Russian Константин Константинович Вагинов, scientific transliteration Konstantin Konstantinović Vaginov, actually Wagengejm / Wagenheim; * 21 Septemberjul / October 3 1899greg in Saint Petersburg, .. † April 26, 1934 ) was a Russian poet.
Waginow was born into a German -born officer's family in Saint Petersburg. He joined in his hometown of Leningrad first in the circle of Nikolai Gumilev Akmeisten to later avant-garde artists association OBERIU.
Konstantin Waginow is one of the most idiosyncratic and original representatives of Russian modernism. His strategy of poetic refusal made it difficult to classify the work of Konstantin Waginow.
Waginow died in 1934 of tuberculosis.
