Konstantin Zyryanov

Konstantin Georgijewitsch Zyryanov (Russian Константин Георгиевич Зырянов; born October 5, 1977 in Perm, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian football player. The midfielder is currently at Zenit St. Petersburg under contract and is a regular player of the national team of his homeland.

Life

Zyryanov began his career in 1995 at the Club Amkar Perm from his home town, which still was playing in the 3rd Liga. With Amkar he rose to 1998 in the Premjer League. In the team's Perm Zyryanov was used mostly as an attacking midfielder and was for a very midfielder score goals (0.28 goals / game), when he joined Torpedo Moscow for the 2000 season, he became used more and more defensive. He barely goals scored (0.05 goals / game ) and was only a reserve player. In 2002, when his wife jumped from a Moscow apartment building and the common three year old daughter took to suicide with, he was nearing the end of his career. Zyryanov continued playing, however, and was able to improve its performance significantly; he was first appointed in 2006 to an international match.
