Konstantinos Mitroglou

Konstantinos " Kostas " Mitroglou (Greek Κωνσταντίνος Μήτρογλου, born March 12, 1988 Kavala ) is a Greek football player. He plays at FC Fulham in the storm primarily as a center forward. He has the German and Greek citizenship.
Origin
Mitroglou came in 1988 in Kavala for the world, but wandered from an early age with his family to Germany and grew up in Neukirchen on the Lower Rhine and in the Ruhr area in North Rhine -Westphalia.
Club career
Mitroglou began his career in 1994 at TuS Prussia Vluyn. In 2001 he moved to SV Neukirchen, where he went through at least the C- youth of the club. In 2003, Motroglou as B -teenager to MSV Duisburg. 2005 took him under contract Borussia Mönchengladbach, where he was until 2007 still in the youth active and scored a total of 38 goals in 35 games. At age 17, he was promoted to the second team, with which he ascended to the Regionalliga West in the summer of 2006. For the foals he met in 23 Regional - games even once.
For the season 2007/ 08 he moved after a decent showing in the Greek U-21 national football team, to his home to Olympiakos Piraeus. There he first wore the number 22 and was reported by the club for the group stage of the Champions League. His first league match, he denied September 30, 2007 against Aris Salonika. His Champions League debut came on 11 December 2007 at home to Werder Bremen. Mitroglou came in the 82nd minute for Darko Kovačević into play. In January 2011 he was loaned until the end of the season to the Greek first division club Panionios Athens, where he obtained eight goals in eleven games. In the summer of 2011, he was loaned out again, this time for a year at the league rivals Atromitos Athens. Mitroglou scored 16 goals in 28 games overall and moved into a Atromitos Greek Cup final. At the end of the lending agreement, he returned to Piraeus. On October 2, 2013 Mitroglou scored in the Champions League match against RSC Anderlecht all three goals for Olympiakos ( 3-0) and was elected to the " UEFA Team of the week" of the 2nd game day. Also get in the Greek championship Mitroglou after only seven games already has three hat tricks.
On January 30, 2014 Mitroglou moved to the Premier League for Fulham FC. He signed a contract until 30 June 2018.
National
With the U-19 Greece he took part in the U19 European Championship in 2007. During the tournament, he was top scorer with six goals for and landed with his team in second place. In the semifinal against Germany, he also scored a goal and could thus contribute to the 3-2 win and to enter the final of his country.
14 November 2009 Mitroglou made his debut in the senior national team of Greece, as he came off the bench in the first leg of their relegation to the Football World Cup 2010 against Ukraine (0-0 ) in 71 minutes of Dimitrios Salpingidis. Mitroglou was nominated for the preliminary squad for the World Cup 2010. In the final national team squad but he could not.
After Fernando Santos took over as coach of the national team, Mitroglou became a fixture in the Greek national team. Four years after his debut, he had again with the Greek selection into the play- off matches of the Football World Cup 2014. In the two games against Romania ( 3-1, 1-1 ) had Mitroglou with three goals essential to the successful qualification of Greece.
