Konstantinos Mitroglou

Konstantinos " Kostas " Mitroglou (Greek Κωνσταντίνος Μήτρογλου, born March 12, 1988 Kavala ) is a Greek football player. He plays at FC Fulham in the storm primarily as a center forward. He has the German and Greek citizenship.


Mitroglou came in 1988 in Kavala for the world, but wandered from an early age with his family to Germany and grew up in Neukirchen on the Lower Rhine and in the Ruhr area in North Rhine -Westphalia.

Club career

Mitroglou began his career in 1994 at TuS Prussia Vluyn. In 2001 he moved to SV Neukirchen, where he went through at least the C- youth of the club. 14 November 2009 Mitroglou made ​​his debut in the senior national team of Greece, as he came off the bench in the first leg of their relegation to the Football World Cup 2010 against Ukraine (0-0 ) in 71 minutes of Dimitrios Salpingidis. Mitroglou was nominated for the preliminary squad for the World Cup 2010. In the final national team squad but he could not.

After Fernando Santos took over as coach of the national team, Mitroglou became a fixture in the Greek national team.
