Koop (Band)
The Swedish music group Koop consists of the jazz musicians and producers Magnus and Oscar Simonsson Zingmark.
Zingmark and Simonsson met in 1995 in Uppsala, but soon moved to Stockholm, where they recorded their debut album, published in 1997 Sons of Koop. The musical style ranges from Nu Jazz, Easy Listening and Ambient, and is characterized by an extensive use of samples.
