Koori

Koori (also Koorie ) is the name by which the Aborigines call in New South Wales and Victoria itself, regardless of which tribe they belong to the Aborigines; it is the established term for Aborigines in south- eastern Australia.

In some languages ​​of South -East Australia, the words mean Coorie, kory, kuri, kooli, koole "person" or " people ". In the 60s of the 20th century, the form Koori prevailed.
