Kopff (crater)

Kopff is an impact crater on the far western edge of the lunar front side, on the eastern edge of the Mare Orientale, west of Lacus Veris. The rim is only slightly eroded, the largely flat interior has broken structures.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1970 by the German astronomer August Kopff.
