Korail

Korail ( Kor. 코레 일; Korail is the short form of Korea Railroad Corporation) is a company domiciled in South Korea state-owned railway company, which was established on 1 September 1963.

The headquarters is located in Daejeon. Korail is both for passenger and freight transport in the active. Also Korail is involved in the subway of Seoul. In addition, the operation operates the high-speed trains, called Korea Train Express, which represent the fastest and most comfortable train category of Korail.

Korail used inter alia in Germany developed locomotives Siemens € sprinter.
