Koral Blue was an Egyptian charter airline based in Cairo.

History

Koral Blue was founded in 2006 as a joint venture of the Tunisian Karthago Airlines with the Egyptian conglomerate Orascom. The first flight was conducted on 27 March 2007 from Sharm El Sheikh to Katowice and Warsaw.

In 2008, Koral Blue received the IOSA safety certificate of the international aviation organization IATA.

In February 2011, Koral Blue introduced as a result of declines in bookings in the context of the revolution in Egypt, the flight operations.

Objectives

From Sharm El -Sheikh, Hurghada and other Egyptian airports from various European destinations were served on charter flights, for example, Lyon, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Milan and Bucharest.

As of May 2011, the fleet of the aircraft consisted of three Koral Blue with a mean age of 8.9 years:
