Korinthos F.C.

PAS Korinthos (Greek Π.Α.Σ. Κόρινθος, dt " Allkorinthischer sports club Corinth " ) is a Greek football club from Corinth. Currently the club plays in the Football League 2, the third- highest division of the country.

History

1959 was the club Pankorinthiakos when the two clubs Corinthians Achilleas and Olympiakos merged. Four years later, still joined Aris from Corinth and the club was then called Korinthos FC. The venue was in the Beta Ethniki from the season 1963/64. 1978/79 the club won the league and sovereign rose for the first time in the club's history in the Alpha Ethniki on. Three years they played in the top Greek league, was 10 (1980 ), 16th (1981) and 1982, 18 and thus Table. Another three years later Korinthos rose to the third tier from (Gamma Ethniki ), but abolished its chances of promotion. Between 1991 and 1993 the club played to this day the last time in the first division of Greece. 1999 then joined the FC Korinthos and city rivals Pankorinthiakos together and founded PAS Korinthos. Only a year later, took the club history with the descent into a local amateur league ( 5 league) the absolute low point. 2002 Corinth managed to move up to the 4th Division ( Delta Ethniki ) and won it in the 2006/07 season without a single defeat. From 2007 to 2011 PAS Korinthos played with it again in the Gamma Ethniki. 2011 was for the club from Corinth and five other clubs in the relegation for forgery. However, in the following season, the club immediately rose again and is now playing in the Football League 2
