Körmend
Körmend ( German: Kirment ) is a town in Vas county with 11,799 inhabitants ( 2011) in Hungary.
The village was mentioned in 1238 as terra Curmend documented. Blessed Ladislaus Batthyány - Strattmann founded in Körmend after the First World War a hospital.
The communities Kranenburg ( Germany ), Groesbeek (Netherlands), Ubbergen (Netherlands) and Fürstenfeld are twin towns of Körmend.
