Kormisosh of Bulgaria

( Also written Kormisosh, Bulgarian Кормисош ) Kormisosch Khan is considered as the fifth ruler of Bulgaria since the recognition of the country's 681 by Ostrom ( Byzantium ). He belonged to the dynasty of Bulgarian rule Wokil and followed Khan Sewar on the throne. Kormisosch reigned from 753/754 to 756, according to the book of names of the Bulgarian khans he usurped the throne from his predecessor.

756 struck the Byzantine Emperor Constantine V, the Bulgarian army under Khan Kormisosh at Burdizon what he renamed after the victory in Bulgarophygon (now Babaeski ). The victory of the Byzantines probably led to the collapse of the Bulgarian ruler.
