Kornél Nagy

Kornel Nagy [ beads ː l nɒɟ ] ( born November 21, 1986 in Püspökladány ) is a Hungarian handball player.

The 1.96 meter tall and 98 kilogram medium back player initially played with Dunaferr SE in the EHF Cup ( seasons 2005/ 06, 2006/ 07, 2007/ 08, 2009/10) and in the European Cup Winners' Cup (2008/ 09). In the season 2010/11 he was in KC Veszprém under contract. With Veszprém he won the Hungarian championship and the Hungarian Cup. Subsequently, Nagy joined the French first division club Dunkerque HBGL.

Kornel Nagy threw in 96 international games for the Hungarian national team 152 goals (as of December 2013); he stood in the squad Hungary for the European Handball Championship in 2010 and 2014.
