History

The company was founded in 1968 in Los Angeles by Richard Ferry and Lester Korn, two former partners of KPMG's predecessor organization Marwick Mitchell. Currently, the company is led by Gary Burnison, a former partner of KPMG. In June 2009, acquired Korn / Ferry London Recruiters Whitehead Mann, a leading talent management company, which was known for its connections to the Management and Supervisory level and many prominent clients across Europe. In January 2010, acquired Korn / Ferry, the McLean, Virginia -based SENSA Solutions, a leading management consulting firm for management and organizational development solutions. In January 2013, Korn / Ferry earned the world's leading provider of Leadership Solutions PDI Ninth House. PDI advises and assists companies in recruiting and developing leaders.
