Mark Korte is a Belgian municipality located in the Flemish region with 12,267 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2012). It consists of the nucleus and the hamlets Handzame, plants and Zarren.

Location

Roeselare is 10 km south, Diksmuide 12km west, 22 km north-east of Bruges, Oostende on the Belgian coast 23 km north-northwest, Gent 47 km west and 93 km east-southeast Brussels.

Traffic

The nearest motorway exit is located a few kilometers east at lights Velde on the A17. Mark Korte has a regional railway station on the railway line Dunkirk - Diksmuide - Kortemark lights Velde, others are inter alia in lights Velde, Torhout and Roeselare.
