Koryta (Plzeň-North District)

Koryta ( until 1924: Koryto ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located in the center of the district of Plzeň- North, about 25 km northeast of the city of Plzeň. Výrov bordered on the northeast by Dolni Hradiste and on the south by Dobříč. The community was founded in 1175 and first written records in 1233. In 1924 the community was renamed from its original name Koryto in the present name Koryta.
