Korytowo, Choszczno County

Korytowo ( German Kürtow ) is a village in Gmina Choszczno the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship.

Korytowo lies in the Neumark, about eleven kilometers east of the city Choszczno ( Arnswalde ) and 71 kilometers south-east of Szczecin.

History

Kürtow was first mentioned in 1237 in a document of the great Polish Duke Wladyslaw Odonicz in which he bequeathed the estate Kürtow the Order of St. John, which adjoined the property of the monastery Kolbatz in the West.
