Koshigaya, Saitama
Koshigaya (Japanese越 谷 市, - shi) is a Japanese city in Saitama Prefecture.
The city is famous for the production of Daruma, a lucky charm made of paper mache.
Geography
Koshigaya is located east of Saitama, north of Sōka and south of Kasukabe. By Koshigaya the Motoara flows.
History
Koshigaya was founded on November 3, 1958, and is about 30 km from Tokyo.
