Kosi Zone

Koshi is an administrative region of the State of Nepal which is named after the main river of the region, Koshi. It is the development of Eastern Region in eastern Nepal and extends from the Terai up to the Tibetan plateau. Council is based in Biratnagar.

The zone consists of 6 districts:

  • Sankhuwashabha
  • Sunsari
  • Terhathum
