Kosova Airlines
Kosova Airlines was a Kosovar airline. She joined the capital of Kosovo, Pristina, with major cities of Europe.
History
The company was established in 2003 by the United Nations Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK ) and the Kosovo government. On 10 May 2006 Kosova Airlines was their only aircraft, a leased Boeing 737-700 back to the Hamburg International. At the same time Kosova Airlines closed its doors and now works together only with other airlines that fly to Pristina airport. It is unclear whether Kosova Airlines will lease back aircraft in the near future for their own operations.
Aircraft fleet
The airline had leased as a single machine, a Boeing 737-700 (D - AHIF ) from Hamburg International. The aircraft was put into service on 1 December 2003 and was operated by the airline to 10 May 2006. Today, the airline is cooperating with Swiss, Lufthansa, German Wings, Air Berlin and LTU.
