Koszanowo, West Pomeranian Voivodeship

Koszanowo ( German name Kussenow ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It belongs to the municipality Brzeżno ( Briesen ) in a circle Świdwin ( Schivelbein ).

Geographical Location

The street village Koszanowo is four kilometers south of Świdwin on a side road to Rzepczyno ( Repzin ).

History

In 1337 is " Cosenow " mentioned inherent in Neumark Landbuch as the landing Schivelbein. 1499 borrow Elector Joachim and Margrave Albrecht in Schivelbein Günther von Briesen with two hooves in Kussenow. 1692 Hans Klemp leases a farm, which in 1695 purchased by Hans Zitzke, free man on Kussenow.
