Kota Pinang

Geographical unit

Kota Pinang is a small town on the island of Sumatra in the province of North Sumatra of Indonesia. It is located about 115 m above sea level and has approximately 55,000 inhabitants ( 2010).

She was once the capital of the small Sultanate of Kota Pinang and today is the administrative seat of the administrative district ( kabupaten ) South Labuan Batu ( Labuan Batu Selatan ).
