Koubia Prefecture

Koubia is a prefecture in the Labé region in Guinea with about 113,000 inhabitants. Like all Guinean Prefectures it is after its capital, Koubia named.

Geography

The prefecture is located in the north of the country in the Fouta Djallon highlands of. It borders on Mali and covers an area of 1,480 km ².
