Action

The Dumb Shankar ( Shahrukh Khan) grows as a servant of the mighty Raja ( Amrish Puri ) to which leads a double life: Before his coal mine workers he pretends to be a protector of the poor and is worshiped by them as God, but together with his brother Brijwa he is a regime of violence and killing every critic.

When he falls in love with the young Gauri ( Madhuri Dixit ), he advertises with Shankar's photo to Gauri's favor and is without Gauri's knowledge and consent to marry with this. As Gauri's brother is visiting his sister, she dangles him the salvation of the world. Shankar runs after him and asks him to take Gauri. When he returns to the house, he looks just like Raja Gauri he wants herunterwirft.Daraufhin the stairs with Gauri leave the house and loses his life. Shankar witnesses and flees with Gauri in the jungle.

But Raja and his bloodhounds are the two on the heels. Raja manages to take both. Now both his merciless violence are delivered - but so does not end this story.
