Kozachok

Kasatschok, the; (Russian: казачок Kasatschok = less than or Cossack ' Cossack dance " to казак Kasak -chen/-lein = Cossack ок - ok = " Kosaklein "; Ukrainian: козачок kosatschók; Polish: kozak Cossack or kozaczek kosátschek ), is a dance of the Cossacks called the Ukrainian / Russian armed peasants in the east of present-day Ukraine. The dance has many improvisations and is 2/4-cycle. Also, the melody on a great similarity with the also Russian folk song Katyusha. The dancers usually occur in pairs, often in a kind of competition with almost artistic interludes. Typical of the dance are the crossed arms in front of the chest, the noisy beating up the paragraphs and the so-called Prisjadka, the hydraulic jump between stretched and angled leg from squatting.
