Kraków School of Mathematics

The Cracow school of mathematics was next to the Warsaw and Lvov mathematicians school one of the three centers of the so-called Polish mathematician school. The Cracow school of mathematics was represented in the years 1918-1939 from the following mathematicians:

  • Stanisław Gołąb
  • Franciszek Leja
  • Władysław Ślebodziński
  • Tadeusz Ważewski
  • Stanisław Zaremba
  • Kazimierz Zorawski

They worked at the Jagiellonian University and the Academy of Mining and Metallurgy Krakow. Focus of their work formed differential equations, analytic functions and differential geometry.
