Kraks Blå Bog

Kraks Blå Bog (Danish: " Krak's Blue Book " ) is a Danish staff encyclopedia that appears when Gad Förlag in Copenhagen. The first edition was published in 1910 along the lines of Who 's Who of Ove Krak ( 1862-1923 ) and comprised about 3,000 biographies. The 103rd edition of 2012/2013 includes 8,229 of the "most important" people from Denmark, the Faeroe Islands and Greenland. The anniversary edition of the centenary of 2009/2010 contained a register of all 19 874 persons who were hitherto shown in Kraks Blå Bog.

By 2007 the Encyclopedia since the anniversary edition 2009/2010 was published in Krak Forlag, in Gads Forlag. Decides on the admission a Drafting Committee, which is supported by about 30 external consultants whose names are not published. Admission criteria is not only awareness and recognition of achievements, but also a " positive influence" of the discussed person on the Danish society.
