Krakus

Krak (or Krakus also ) to have been on the river the Wandalus written by Kadlubek legend, a Duke of Vandals. Its existence is not provable, according to today's historians. He is considered the alleged founder of the city of Kraków (Polish: Kraków). Krak is said to have defeated by a trick the living at the foot of Wawel Wawel man-eating dragon. He is also attributed to the construction of the Waweler castle.

According Wincenty Kadłubek he was also the father of Wanda, who are after his death, Queen ( of Poland) and this should be a German knight marry. According to the version in the 16th century Wanda found the latter unacceptable and committed suicide. After earlier version of the German knights died, but Wanda had a long life.

Even before Kadlubek Cosmas of Prague had invented the legend of Krok and his daughter Libuse.
