Kramerspitz from northwest

The Kramerspitz (including Kramer ) is a 1985 m above sea level. NHN high mountain northwest of Garmisch -Partenkirchen. The mountain offers a comprehensive view of the Zugspitze and the Karwendel mountains and the plain around Munich.

Rise

The peak is a mountain tour for sure-footed hikers from Garmisch either St. Martin ( 1028 m ) or via the Stepbergalm ( 1583 m) distance ( in photo at bottom right still visible).

The mountain is easy to walk around for an experienced hiker, only the last 100 meters to the summit require some experience in dealing with climbing aids such as steel ropes, which are attached there in difficult places. Since the last 100 meters, consist of white rock, should be offered in the winter months increased caution.

It offers a wide number of ways to climb, a very popular way is through the base of the mountain, such as the sports ground in Garmisch -Partenkirchen, over the trail to Stepbergalm ( rise about 2-3 hours). From the Stepbergalm it goes for about 400 meters to the actual summit ( about 1-2 hours). On the way down you can still climb two other secondary summit before one returns to the starting point after about 2-3 hours descent.
