Krassimir Avramov

Krassimir Avramov ( Bulgarian Красимир Аврамов, born February 21, 1972 in Sliven ) is a Bulgarian singer.

Career

Avramov grew up in the town of Sliven, went but later in the capital Sofia, where he studied at the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts " Krastjo Sarafow ". In 1997, he released his debut album Silent Voices, the following year he moved to Los Angeles. In 2005 he received for his album Popera the award for " Superstar of the Year " at the Los Angeles Music Awards and also held a concert at the Kodak Theatre.

In 2009 he took part in the Bulgarian preliminary decision to Euro Vision Song Contest. His song illusion, which he co-wrote with William and Casie Tabanou, was able to prevail on February 21, 2009 with over 55% of phone calls in the final of Be a Star. Thus Avramov represented Bulgaria at the Euro Vision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow. Prior to the competition, he traveled among other Greece, Turkey and the United Kingdom.

In the first semifinal Avramov occupied but only the third to last place with seven points and could not, therefore, qualify for the final. During his appearance, he was supported by three background singers and two stilt walkers.
