KRC Bambrugge

KRC Bambrugge is a Belgian football club from Bambrugge. The club is affiliated to the CBFA with the strain number 5343 and has black and yellow as the club's colors. The team plays its home games at the complex Lindekouter to Bambrugge, a stadium with over 1500 standing places.

History

The club was founded on 16 August 1949 and joined on June 24, 1950 the Belgian football association. Bambrugge then played in the province of class. The club played there the next few decades, but was able to steadily improve. The club played for years at the head of the second class province. In 2009 Bambrugge was master and to ascend to the highest class province of the first club from Erpe- Mere. Bambrugge is currently represented (2012 ) in the first class province of the province of East Flanders.

Merger plans

There are plans to merge the four remaining clubs from Erpe -Mere (SK Aaigem, KRC Bambrugge, KFC Olympic burst and FC Mere ). It would then be a new stadium to be built on the Steenberg domain. It is hoped to be completed in 2015. It is certain, however, that the merger will continue in 2016 at the earliest, because the hall to be built in Steenberg only. The new club will continue to play with the same root number in the highest class province, as the remaining teams from this region all play in deeper leagues. Since all of these clubs, including clubs that are already merged before the FC Mere, Black had as one of their team colors, the new team color will probably be black too. The K of Koninklijke (Royal ) and Erpe -Mere will be included in the name of the new association. The further interpretation of the name is still unknown.
