Krchleby (Nymburk District)

Krchleby ( German Skrchleb, also Kirchleb ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located six kilometers north of Nymburk and belongs to fulltext your real estates.

Geography

Krchleby is located at the headwaters of the creek Klobuš on the Bohemian panel. To the west rises the hill Strejcov ( Skrchleb, 209 m). Leads through the village the road 38 of Nymburk to Mladá Boleslav. On either side of the town extend the railway lines from Nymburk to Mladá Boleslav or Jičín. Lie in the open field, in two kilometers from the village, to the west the railway stations " Straky " and in the East " Jíkev ".

Neighboring towns are Patřín in the north, Jíkev and Hruby Jeseník in the northeast, Oskořínek in the east, and Chleby Bobnice the southeast, Obora and Všechlapy in the south, and Dvory Čilec the southwest, Straky in the west and Všejany, Zavadilka and Jizbice in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village took place in 1323. Since 1345 the place of the church of St. Giles in Veleliby was gepfarrt. The inhabitants of the place lived by agriculture.

After the abolition of patrimonial Skrchleby formed in 1850 a municipality in the district Poděbrady. 1885 was the volunteer fire department. 1934 came the congregation to fulltext your real estates. Krchleby today consists of 295 single family homes.
