Kremmin

The municipality is part of the Office Kremmin Grabow in the district of Ludwigsburg pleasure Parchim in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ).

Geography

The community is located approximately four miles southeast of downtown Grabow on the border to Brandenburg. The Meynbach flows along the southern boundary of the municipality towards Old Elde.

At the community include the districts Kremmin and Beckentin.

History

In both districts urns discovered from the Bronze Age, which are now exhibited in the local museum Grabow, point to an early settlement of the district. The discovery of a copper coin of the Roman Emperor Severus Alexander from the year 227 could indicate a Roman trade route from Lenzen ( Elbe) on Grabow to Wismar.
