Krempermoor

Krempermoor is a municipality in the district of Steinburg, in Schleswig- Holstein.

Geography and transport

Krempermoor is located three kilometers south of Itzehoe in a vast marshland. Immediately on the northern boundary of the municipality is the Kremperheide station. About a bus Krempermoor is connected to Itzehoe.

History

The town was first mentioned in 1271 as " Cremper Mohr " ( the Moor, part of the city brim ).

Policy

Of the nine seats in the municipal council voters Community KWV has since the local elections 2008 six seats and the CDU two. One seat is held by a single candidate.
