Krems-Land District

The district of Krems-Land is located in the Waldviertel in Lower Austria and Most district and includes the areas west and north of Krems on the Danube. Krems itself is a statutory city.

Administrative divisions

The district of Krems-Land is divided into 30 municipalities, including four cities and 20 market towns.

The most important of the abbreviations used are:

  • M = center of the municipality
  • Stt = district
  • R = Rotte
  • W = hamlet
  • D = village
  • ZH = Scattered houses
  • Sdlg = settlement
  • E = bowery (only if they have their own locality code)
