Krešimir Stanić

Krešimir Stanic (born 6 March 1985) is a former Swiss football player with Croatian roots.

Life

The striker came from the youth department of FC Zurich. He came regularly to make partial assignments in the Super League. He was also a member of the U21 national team of Switzerland.

During the night from 16th to 17th September 2006 he caused with 1.91 per thousand blood alcohol concentration and with sharply increased speed in a car accident in which he mainly on the left leg drew upon serious injury. Although Stanic returned to the practice field and back training with the U21 of the FCZ, but his professional career, he had to quit. Today Stanic has worked as a youth coach at FC Zurich.

On February 11, 2009 Kresimir Stanic was sentenced to a fine for the traffic offense by the District Court of Zurich. In November 2009 it was announced that Kresimir Stanic 14 February 2009, just three days after his conviction, at a speed of 132 instead of the permitted 80 kilometers per hour drove through a tunnel.
