Krispl is a municipality with 883 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the state of Salzburg in the district of Hallein in Austria. It includes the twin locality Krispl - Gaißau.

Geography
The municipality is located in Tennengau in Salzburg in the midst of Osterhorngruppe, about 25 km south of Salzburg. Quarters are Gaißau (municipality Krispl ) and Krispl, where Gaißau is greater. There is the ski area and the well-known recreation area Spielbergalm. In Krispl is the newly restored church.

Neighboring communities
History
Documented the name Gaizzouwe " ( Gaißau ) is first mentioned in 1241. 1393 a good is described under the Chrispel in the parish Chuchl. Since 1859 Krispl is independent parish.
