Kristi Vangjeli

Kristi Vangjeli ( born September 5, 1985 in Korçë ) is an Albanian football player.

Career

Currently at Aris Thessaloniki under contract, is mostly used in the midfield, but he can also be used on the left in defense. In spite of his young age, he has won a regular place in the club Aris Thessaloniki, who reached the fourth place in the 2006/07 season in the Greek league and thus qualified for the UEFA Cup. During the season 2010/11 he was able to fight for a regular place and reached with his team the round of the Europa League.

National

For the Albanian national team he had been two inserts in a friendly against England and against Luxembourg. The Albanian national team coach was pretty impressed by Kristi Vangjeli and he will invite him for the upcoming European Championship qualifiers. He is seen as the great hope in Albania.
