Kristin Baker

Kristin Baker ( born 1975 in Stamford (Connecticut) ) is an American painter.

The daughter of a racing driver, especially with a series of large-format images with abstract or highly abstracted designs in acrylic became known.

1998 BFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and Tufts University in Boston, MA. 2002 MFA Painting at Yale University in New Haven, CT.

Her work has been shown in many well known galleries and museums, including: Whitney Museum of American Art, PS1 Contemporary Art Center in New York, the Pompidou Centre in Paris, and The Royal Academy in London.

She lives and works in New York City.
