Kristin Boese

Career

It began in 2002 with the kite surfing and started in 2004 a professional career as a kitesurfer. In 2005 she won the first world championship title at the Professional Kiteboard Riders Association ( PKRA ), and successfully defended the title in 2006.

In 2007, she then moved on to " Kiteboard Pro World Tour" ( KPWT ) and became overall world champion and world champion in course racing and wave. In September 2007, published photos of her in the German edition of men's magazine Playboy. In 2008 she was elected to the audience voted "Best kitesurfer of the Year" of the Action Sports Awards.

In 2009 she launched the " International Kiteboarding Association " ( IKA). Boese also advocates for inclusion of kitesurfing in the program of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
