Kristin Patzwahl

Kristin Patzwahl (* July 16, 1965 in Leipzig) is a former German track and field athlete who specialized in the 100 - meter hurdles.

It was 1986 DDR Champion with the 4 x 100 - meter relay and 1990 in the hall about 60 meters hurdles. After the reunification Patzwahl won the 1991, 1993 and 1994, the German championship in the 100 - meter hurdles. Internationally, it reached the finals several times: at the Universiade 1987, she was eighth at the 1990 European Championships in Split Seventh, at the 1991 World Championships in Tokyo Eighth and at the European Indoor Championships in 1992 in Genoa sixth. At the Olympic Games in 1992 in Barcelona and 1996 in Atlanta, she reached the semi-finals respectively. In 1998, she ended her sports career.

Patzwahl had a personal best of 12.80 seconds set in 1990 in Chemnitz. She launched for SC DHfK Leipzig ( 1980-92 ), LAC Hallensee Berlin ( 1993-95 ) and LG SCC Nike Berlin ( 1996-97).
