Kristof Hopp

Kristof Hopp (* July 14, 1978 in Kiel ) is a German badminton player.

Career

Hopp was active in the disciplines of men's doubles and Mixed doubles ( Mixed). With 84 vocations to the national team from 2000 to 2010 he is Germany's most-capped player in the men's. His first international game he played on 18 February 2000 in Sofia against the Netherlands in the Thomas Cup qualifiers.

Kristof Hopp in 1999 made ​​his Abitur and studied English teacher / Geography and Business Studies.

Together with his partner Birgit Mixed Overzier he had qualified for participation in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. There she lost in the first round against the set at position 3 Indonesians Flandy Limpele and Vita Marissa in two sets. In 2010 he ended his international career.
