Kristof Van Hout
Kristof Van Hout ( born February 9, 1987 in Lommel ) is a Belgian football goalkeeper who is currently active for Standard Liège in the Jupiler League, the top division in Belgian football.
With a height of 208 centimeters Van Hout is currently considered the world 's largest active professional football player.
Career
Youth
Van Hout began his career as a soccer goalie in 1992 the newcomers his home club, the SK Lommel. There he went through several youth leagues and also showed there already by his talent at defensive penalty situations. In 2003 he then moved to the youth department of KFC Verbroedering Geel Geel in the province of Antwerp.
After only a year he left the club and came in for the youth of the Willem II Tilburg in the Netherlands for use. Club career
