Kristoffer Zegers

Kristoffer Zegers (* December 27, 1973 in Breda ) is a Dutch composer.

He studied at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague in Gilius van Bergeijk Jan Boerman, Martijn Padding, Clarence Barlow, and Robert HP Platz.

In his compositions, Zegers works with tapes and electronically processed sounds. In 2002 he gave a master class at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. The following year he founded his own electronic studio.

His composition Singularity IV was performed in the Great Hall of the Concertgebouw in 1999. Electric Hocks was premiered in 2003 at the November Festival of the International Society for Contemporary Music ( ISCM ), the world premiere of Venlaflexine played the Kohinoor Saxophone Quartet.

On April 22, Zegers gave a concert in Breda, Netherlands, grote Kerk OLV, with 60 pianos and 120 pianists. 2008, several of these concerts are organized.
