Kristy McNichol

Kristy McNichol ( born September 11, 1962 as Christina Ann McNichol in Los Angeles, California ) is a former American film actress.

Biography

Kristy McNichol was born in September 1962 in Los Angeles. Her father James McNichol, a Scotsman, was a craftsman. Her mother Carollyne McNichol Lucas, half Palestinian, was an actress and later Kristy's manager. She has two brothers: Jimmy and Thomas McNichol. Jimmy McNichol is also an actor. When she was three years old, her parents divorced. She was 19 when her mother married the German Siegfried Lucas. Together they adopted the same year Kristy's sister Jennifer Lucas.

At the age of six years turned McNichol several commercials and had her first television appearance in 1973 in the series Love, American Style.
