Krisztián Lisztes

Krisztián Lisztes [ Kristia ː n listɛʃ ] ( born July 2, 1976 in Budapest) is a Hungarian football player.

Career

Clubs

The midfielder was in Hungary as a great talent, played for Ferencvárosi TC and changed in the 1996/97 season to the German Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart. VfB was already at the Daimler -Benz Junior Cup in 1994 Lisztes, who was elected there to the best player of the tournament, attentive. After promising beginning he could not prevail and there joined the 2001/02 season to Werder Bremen. There he had been as a regular in the season 2003/ 04, in the Werder German league and cup, his best time, but suffered before the end of the season a torn ACL and thus was no longer at Bremen in the form. For the season 2005/ 06 he went to Borussia Monchengladbach, but where he could not prevail.

For the season 2007/ 08 Lisztes after a year without a club to Hajduk Split. In August 2007, the contract was re-dissolved, whereupon Lisztes in February 2008 signed a new contract with Ferencvárosi TC. Since the summer of 2008 he played for the Hungarian first division Rákospalotai EAC, from which he moved to the German second division club Hansa Rostock in January 2009. After 13 operations during the 2008 /09 Lisztes struck an offer to contract extension in Rostock, however, and joined the Hungarian first division Paksi SE, a year later to Vasas Budapest.

For the 2011/12 season Lisztes moved back to his youth club Ferencvaros Budapest.

Achievements

One of the greatest successes of the Hungarian national player (43 caps, seven goals) including Deutsche Championship in 2004 with Werder Bremen as well as winning the DFB Cup with Werder in 2004 winning the cup with VfB Stuttgart in 1997. Using the VfB Stuttgart he achieved in 1998 the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup, which was, however, lost 0-1 against Chelsea. He was also with Ferencvárosi TC 1995 and 1996 Hungarian Champion, and 1994 and 1995 Hungarian Cup winner. Lisztes won the 2002 Hungarian Golden Ball He is married and has one daughter and one son.
