Kritzow

Kritzow is a municipality in the east of the county Ludwigslust - Parchim in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). It is administered by the Office Eldenburg Lübz with headquarters in the city Lübz.

Geography and transport

The community is located south of the national road 191, about six kilometers east of Luebz and approximately nine kilometers west of Plau am See. The community is located between two Endmoränenzügen in the east and in the west at Schlemmin gasoline. Highest points in the municipal area are the Pavilljönkenberg 101 m above sea level. NHN and two unnamed surveys, on the one hand, a 107.8 -meter-high hill in the forest area Schlemminer fir trees in the southwest and continues a 103 m measured hill north of gasoline. East of the village Kritzow the same name lies Kritzower lake. To the east of the lake lies the forest block coupling.

History

The area around Kritzow has been inhabited since ancient times. In the vicinity of the place a Bronze Age knife was found. In 1300, the site was mentioned as a fief of the Redickesdorf Critsow and family. Kritzow was in 1438 the Duke's possession. The place consisted of two parallel rows of Kate until the First World War. The tenant house was built in 1757 and 1873 significantly modified and used in GDR times as the municipal center and kindergarten.

The district gasoline was first mentioned in 1300 as Bentcin documented.
