The Krka Bridge, Croatian Most Krka, is an arch bridge made ​​of reinforced concrete on the Croatian river Krka near the city Skradin. The bridge converts the four-lane Autocesta A1 and was built between 2002 and 2004. In June 2005, the opening to traffic followed.

Technical details and construction

The arc of the Krka Bridge has a cross section of 10 m by 3 m and was produced by the balanced cantilever with Hilfsabspannungen from each 5.2 m long reinforced concrete sections. The top can track support is made of composite construction. For the construction of a total of 12,000 cubic meters of concrete and 1,700 tons of reinforcing steel were used.

The construction took over the Croatian company Inzenjering constructor. Firm specializing in the steel construction was also the Croatian company Duro Dakovic Montaža, which is a part of the German Bilfinger Power Systems GmbH today. The stay cables for the Hilfsabspannungen supplied the German DYWIDAG-Systems International GmbH. The expansion joints on the two expansion joints of the bridge comes from the Swiss company mageba SA.
