Krka d.d. is a world -represented pharmaceutical company headquartered in Novo mesto, Slovenia and production sites in Slovenia, Germany, Croatia, Austria, Poland and Russia.

History

Krka dd, named after the Slovenian Krka river, was founded on April 23, 1954 in Novo mesto. The share of the Krka d.d. is traded on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange since 10 February 1997. In addition, the company is listed in CEETX. In 2007 the company bought the TAD Pharma GmbH, Cuxhaven, a German manufacturer of generic drugs, for 97 million euros and 2008, the age Nova Arzneimittel GmbH, Vienna. The company supplies its products in more than 70 countries today.
